This is one of the houses we built in Greenfield, NY.  The fun part was building the oak staircase and inlaying the floors.  The rest was just work.





Once there was only one great big window unit along this wall.  Matching the trimwork was far easier than lifting the window into the hole.

And speaking of lifting...this box window was smaller but ten feet higher.

I think it rained every day we built this little garage.


We helped with the restoration of this old Victorian, doing the exterior repair and painting, as well as repairing the roof and chimney to hold the 300-pound gargoyle.  I've included this in the "Structures" page because we eventually designed and built the porch roof to match the rest of the place.


Yep.  A screen room, composite decking, cedar shakes and a trap door, in a tree.
